Chapter Summaries

Students are to summarize the events of each chapter using 7-9 sentences to respond. These summaries are worth 10 points a piece. Since there are six chapters the total worth of this assignment is 60 points. The chapter four summary will be a response to a forum from this website. Each day this assignment is late will result in a deduction of 5 points. Students who do not turn in the assignment when it would fall below 50% of it's total value would have until the end of the trimester to earn 50% on the assignment (30 points).

Journal Entries

Students will be using EliReview and journal entries to respond to the text in a more personal and reflective manner. Students will earn up to ten points per journal entry provided that the entry remains on subject and is a page total in length. We will be collecting journal entries at the end of the trimester. Students, please make sure you are keeping track of these responses. If you are absent on one of the journal write days please look at the "Journal" section of the website to gain access to the prompt you missed while you were away.
